Come Ride the Lowcountry with us!...in a better way than ever before, presented by Lucey Mortgage!
This year we have a new spacious venue for starting and finishing the ride. We’ll be in the new Awendaw Municipal Park, 7900 Doar Rd in Awendaw, SC, only 10 miles from the Outpost that you’ve been to before, but along the ride route.
On Saturday, April 15th, we’ll have our usual routes of 33, 43, 65 and 100 miles of beautiful Lowcountry marsh and woodlands, much of it in a national forest with its flat, quiet roads, for a relaxing, but challenging ride with your friends and a great lunch afterward to celebrate. Get more detail on our Routes page.
Again, we’ll have several pace groups, led by Lowcountry Racing, who will take a paceline on the 64 and 100 mile routes at a pre-announced speed, so everyone can find the preferred speed group and stay with it. It’s been very popular.

You're also invited to join Coastal Cyclists for our regular Sunday rides. On Sunday, April 16th choose between a guided 30 mile gravel ride through the forest or take a guided road ride around downtown Charleston, over the Ravenel Bridge, through the old village of Mt. Pleasant, through Patriots Point Park and out to Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms.
The Sunday rides will be very casual…no SAG or snack rest stops. On the gravel route, just gravel! On the downtown/islands tour, several water and bathroom stops.
You’ll leave on Sunday having seen some of the best scenery in the Charleston area. You will have ridden the Lowcountry and seen the best it has to offer. Join us and bring a few of your friends along for a great weekend.
